About Christina Zen wolfe

I am inspired by the beauty of southwest landscapes with their expansive views, dramatic skies, rock formations, and mountain aspens. Painting outdoors en plein air, with oils and palette knives, allows me to sculpt these beautiful inspiring places and share them with you.

I am passionate about the outdoors and connecting people to nature through art.

Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, my time spent along the Point Reyes coastline and exploring the Sierra Nevada mountains instilled a deep love of nature. While at the University of California Santa Barbara, I studied as a multimedia artist working with a variety of mediums, oils and sculpture. Finding Santa Fe felt like coming home the first time I visited and I set roots over twenty years ago. My career journey flowed into mapping and conservation work, deepening appreciation of the interconnectedness of our natural world.

The artist’s path is my heart’s calling. I seek wild places, camping under the brilliant star-filled sky, and adventuring across timeless landscapes together with my partner and our dogs, painting along the way and in awe of these mesmerizing southwest vistas.

All my paintings are originals and unique. For inquiries, please send a note through my Contact page. If you like my style and have a particular landscape in mind, I accept commissions.

I am represented by Indigo Gallery in Madrid, New Mexico. If you are in the neighborhood, please stop by and enjoy seeing the paintings in person.

May my art bring you happiness and brighten your day!
